The Centre for a Compassionate Society was founded by the Community Church of St Mark (Clifton Hill Baptist) in 2019.

The Centre organises and supports activities that lead to a more compassionate way of being with ourselves, with one another and with our planet.

Understanding compassion to be a universal human value that connects us with our deepest selves, the Centre promotes genuinely inclusive spiritual exploration and dialogue. The Centre’s activities towards social justice and inclusion flow from that exploration.
